Meet the Team

Behind meds4tots is a passionate team dedicated to making sure every child has access to the medication they need. From our founder to our donors, each person brings their heart and expertise to this important cause.

  • Founder and President, meds4tots

Zara Dayani, 11,  is the president and founder of meds4tots, a charitable organization created to help children in need. Zara came up with the idea of meds4tots after hearing her parents, both physicians, discuss repeatedly how their patients were having difficulty affording their medications. Zara then asked if sick kids also had the same problems. With that, the idea for meds4tots was born. Driven by a desire to help the less fortunate, Zara wanted to find ways to create real change in her community and beyond.

Zara is a hardworking student at Saint Mary’s Hall, where she has attended classes since the age of three. A Form 5 student today, she is known among her teachers and classmates for her generosity, leadership, and tireless commitment to making a positive impact. She was selected among her peers for a Change Maker Project, where she presented her idea to the principal to implement a positive change in the school.

Zara was born and raised in San Antonio and comes from a family of physicians. Following in the footsteps of her parents, grandfather, and great-grandfather, she dreams of becoming a doctor herself someday.

Apart from her philanthropic activities, Zara is a well-rounded young leader who enjoys skiing, swimming, reading, dancing, singing, writing, and playing the piano. She loves spending time with family and friends from Texas to India and approaches every endeavor with passion and compassion.
